Central location, at a moderate distance from Izakaya Hanbey. Next to restaurants and bars and next to a museum and an art gallery. Very well maintained building and rooms with a view.

Exceptionally comfortable bed, really great bathroom and satellite TV, climate control, and an individual safe in the room. Appetising and fantastic food. The marvellous location for the price, close to the Nagano JR east train station, an awesome mall with Sake bars, and the department store.

We stayed at Hotel Metropolitan for one night as we were traveling to Hakuba and visiting the Snow Monkeys. The location couldn't be better, just a 3-minute walk from the train station. The hotel has a connecting pass on level 2 which makes it incredibly convenient to reach. There are also shops and food stalls nearby, including a great pancake place opposite Baskin Robbins. We appreciated being able to reserve our seats on the JR train and then relax in our room before heading out. The hotel is also within walking distance to Zenkoji Temple, a beautiful sight to see. We will definitely return!

Stayed in this property for 1 night and appreciated our choice. The place was clean and we loved triple room. The staff were all exceptionally nice, amiable. The service was great, including a speedy check-in.

The breakfast was delicious and the staff was responsive. The rooms with a great view as well as comfortable bed. Location adjacent to a train station and a shopping mall name Midori and a mall with many eateries and the famous Zenkoji Temple.

Our stay at the Metropolitan Hotel in Nagano was incredible! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a great view of the shopping area. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to store our luggage before check-in. It's in a convenient location, attached to the train station and department store, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. We loved the soundproofing, as we couldn't hear any noise from the train station. a fantastic experience!
Felt like being in the comfort of our own home, no reason to complain.

The value for money at Metropolitan was great, with clean rooms and friendly staff. The location, right next to the train station, made it convenient for exploring the city and there were plenty of nice restaurants nearby. The hotel even provided mobile phones for guests to use outside of the hotel, which was a nice touch.
Breakfast offerings could have been improved with more vegetarian options. It would have been helpful if the dishes were labeled to indicate if they contained meat or fish.
